Chuck Rubac
I'm a former Navy SEAL sniper with multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan and a Bronze Star with Valor. Like many veterans, I returned home believing I could handle everything on my own. I couldn't.
After years of struggle, golf became an unexpected part of my recovery. What started as an invitation to a charity tournament became a pursuit that challenged me in ways I never expected. Golf humbled me, demanded discipline, and gave me a new mission.
During a tournament, I hit a powerful drive that missed its target entirely. A friend said, "Great shot—you were just aiming wrong." As a sniper, those words stuck with me. Walking back to the cart, I improvised a visual alignment aid using a golf tee and a drinking straw. The very next shot flew straight down the fairway.
That moment sparked an idea.
Every weapon system I'd trained with had a sighting system designed to improve accuracy. Why didn't golf? I went home, started building prototypes, and eventually developed what would become Sniper Tees®.
Sniper Tees was born from a simple belief: you can't hit a target you can't clearly see. Our mission is to help golfers build consistency, improve alignment, and gain confidence through a better setup.
You can't reach a place you can't see a path to.
